Smart Home Essay/Vlog – Young Leaders Competition

SH&BA recently brought together Young Leaders at the IFA Conference in Berlin, and the result of this was enthusiastically welcomed by the attendees who came from companies such as Google, Sky, Fitbit, Media Saturn, Yale Locks, Tado, Tech Data, & Lightwave. As an association, SH&BA wants to give the smart home leaders of the future a voice TODAY!
We, therefore, have the pleasure to announce a competition for young smart home leaders
- 1,500 word essay or a vlog of no more than 5 minutes on the topic:
“How to overcome the barriers to the adoption of smart home.” - Open to people under 35 years old who work in the smart home industry
- Deadline for submissions is 15th October 2018
- Winning contribution will be published online and in paper form
- Judges will be from the three European smart home associations – SH&BA (UK), FFD (France) and SmartHome Initiative (Germany)
The winner will
- Receive a prize of £500
- Present the winning essay/vlog at the SH&BA Retailer & Manufacturer panel meeting in Central London on 15th November, 2018
